The Huskies began as one of the first teams in the BAA. Unfortunately hockey was the priority in Toronto and the Huskies played around the Maple Leafs' schedule. With attendance declining throughout the season, the team lost $100,000. The team folded after the season and pro basketball did not return to the city until 1995.
