Team: Baltimore Stallions
Years Active: 1994-1995 Championships: 1995
Home: Memorial Stadium (Baltimore, MD)
Originally named the Colts, after the team that had moved 10 years prior, legal issues caused a name change to Stallions. The team was a resounding success with hall of fame coach Don Matthews leading them to the Grey Cup in both of their seasons. In 1995, the Baltimore Stallions became the first, and remain the only, American franchise to ever win the Lord Grey's cup for the championship of Canadian football. Legends such as Tracy Ham, Mike Pringles, Elfrid Payton, and Donald Igwebuike played for the Stallions. Following the team's triumph, the Browns moved to Baltimore, and the Stallions were forced to relocate to Montreal.
This product is an historical representation of the defunct team in the description. The product is in no way affiliated with any existing team, league or other organization.
