The Rhein Fire. based in Dusseldorf, Germany, joined World League when it was resurrected in 1995 as a Europe-only league after a two-year hiatus. Oliver Luck served as GM in the first season, before becoming league president. The Fire were one of the most successful teams, making it to five World Bowls and winning the title in1998 and 2000.
