The Hamburg Sea Devils, who joined the World League in 2005, aren't just remembered for their fiendish and colorful sea monster logo but for their 2007 World Bowl Championship. Over 48,000 fans packed the Commerzbank-Arena to watch Hamburg defeat the Frankfurt Galaxy. In its final season, five of the six teams in the now defunct NFL Europe were based in Germany.
