The Arkansas Diamonds were established in 2000 as the Arkansas Twisters an expansion team in the indoor football league known as af2, which was the second level of the sport below the Arena Football League. In 2010, they became the Diamonds, a name previously used by team in the old outdoor Continental Football League. In 2011, they moved to Allen, TX.
