Two entirely different teams, in two different leagues, used the nickname Texans and called Dallas home, In 1951, the original Colts called it quits in Baltimore. The league sold the team's assets to a group from Dallas who formed the Texans. They used a similar color scheme to the one that would later be used by the Cowboys and even played a Thanksgiving Day game. The team was so bad, and fans so disinterested, though, that game was played in Akron, Ohio. The Thanksgiving contest would be the team's only win as they went 1-11 and folded after the season. 

In 1960, the city was awarded the Cowboys, shortly after Lamar Hunt announced the formation of football's American league, and a team in his hometown to be called the Dallas Texans. Both teams shared the Cotton Bowl, and while the Texans were more completive on the field, the Cowboys drew more fans largely due to the high-profile visiting teams like Chicago, Green Bay, and New York. After being courted by several city's, the American league team moved to Kansas City in 1963 and became the Chiefs. The Texans name in Dallas was revived by an Arena Football League team in 1990.

Cancellations after 48 hours are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Expedited Shipping will not speed up production time. Please contact us if you need your jersey by a certain date.

If a jersey arrives damaged or with errors, we will remake it at no charge or a process a full refund.
