The Seals began play as the San Francisco Seals and eventually moved to Oakland. After two championships in the WHL, the team joined the NHL's 1967 west coast expansion. While in the NHL, the Seals had one of the worst records in the history of professional sports with a .349 winning percentage. Charlie Finley who also owned Oakland's baseball team, eventually bought the Seals and while accomplishments on the ice may not have been memorable, their promotions and uniforms certainly were.  READ MORE
