The Galaxy were one of the original teams in the World League of American Football (WLAF) beginning in 1991. When the league restructured to play exclusively in Europe in 1995, the Galaxy returned and became a powerhouse. The Galaxy appeared in eight of the next 12 World Bowls, winning four.
