Team Info
The Hampton Roads Rhinos were a proposed NHL team set to begin play in the late 90's in a newly built arena in Norfolk, Virginia. With then Charlotte Hornets owner George Shinn as the proposed owner, the team was to feature a similar color scheme. Ultimately the move of the Carolina Hurricanes to Raleigh, North Carolina put an end to the proposed Rhinos.
