The Minnesota Muskies were coached by hall of famer Jim Pollard in their only season and made it to the Eastern Division Championship in the ABA's inaugural season. While the team looked to have a promising future with their on court play, fans were not interested. The Muskies only sold 100 season tickets and drew less than 3,000 fans per game. After the season the team moved to Miami and became The Floridians.
